Name of Activity 1 : National Flag Raising Ceremony
Grade Level: K1-K3
Activity goal:
1.Get to know the national flag and national anthem of the country from an early age.
2.Get to know the etiquette to observe during the flag-raising ceremony.
3.Build an attitude of respect for the national anthem, flag and flag raising ceremony.
Activity introduction:
Members of the Road Safety Patrol of our school lead the teachers and students of the school to hold the national flag raising ceremony every Friday. In addition, on New Year’s Day (January 1), the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day (July 1) and National Day (October 1), there are also school wide flag raising ceremonies to cultivate students’ sense of belonging to the country and enhance their national identity.

Name of Activity 2 : ” Enjoying Lunar New Year fair ‧ Shopping for Lunar New Year’s Eve
Grade Level: K1-K3
Activity goal:
1.Let students know the traditional customs of the Chinese New Year and enjoying the atmosphere of the Lunar Year festive.
2.Learn to contribute to the family in Lunar New Year.
Activity introduction:
1.Members of the Parent-Teacher Association prepare Lunar New Year’s items together with the children.
2.Members of the Parent-Teacher Association used the items which made by the children to set up the Lunar New Year Fair stalls, so that the children could experience the fun and atmosphere of “going for the Lunar New Year Fair”.

Name of Activity 3 : ” The Celebration of Lantern Festival and the Competition of the Great Bay Elite Board Game “
Grade Level: K1-K3
Activity goal:
1.Let students know about the customs of the Chinese New Year through booth games.
2.Through booth games and parent-child board game competitions, learn about the scenic spots and special foods in the major bay areas, and enjoy the fun of parent-child games.
Activity introduction:
1.Booth game.
2.Take the family as a group and play the board game “the Great Bay Elite Board Game ” together.

Name of Activity 4 : Parent-Teacher Association Activity – “Baduanjin First Experience”
Grade Level: Parents
Activity goal:
1.Let parents know about “Ba Duan Jin”, a long-established Chinese fitness method.
2.Encourage parents to practice “Baduanjin” to achieve the effect of exercise and establish a healthy attitude towards life.
Activity introduction:
Parents will be taught the formulas, moves and effects of “Ba Duan Jin” by the school’s Kung Fu masters.

Name of Activity 5 : Parent-child Day Tour
Grade Level: Students and Parents
Activity goal:
By visiting “Zhongshan Memorial Park” and “Tai Kwun”, parents and students can learn about Sun Yat-sen, the founding father, and the history of Hong Kong.
Activity introduction:
Under the guidance and explanation of a professional tour guide, visit Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Park and Tai Kwun.

Name of Activity 6 : Chinese Art – Ceramic Art Creation
Grade Level: K1-K3
Activity goal:
Invite parents to participate in pottery creation workshops with their children, and then encourage parents to sign up for the “Treasure Hunt – The Parent-child Pottery Design Competition”, which organized by the Hong Kong Children’s Arts and Cultural Exchange Association (HKCACEA), so as to promote parent-child communication and collaboration, and to understand pottery, a traditional Chinese culture.
Activity introduction:
1.Recruit some parents who are interested in pottery creation.
2.Arrange tutors to lead parent-child pottery creation workshops.
3.Parents are encouraged to sign up for the “Treasure Hunt – The Parent-child Pottery Design Competition”.

Name of Activity 7: Chinese Art – Chinese Dance
Grade Level: K1-K3
Activity goal:
1.Invite professional tutors to the school to provide regular Chinese dance classes, so that students can learn about various ethnic groups in China and their traditional dance characteristics and costumes.
2.Invite Chinese dance instructors to set up interest classes in the school, and let students who are interested in Chinese dance sign up to participate, so as to deepen their understanding of the basic skills of Chinese dance.
3.Arrange dance class students to represent the school in dance competitions or festival performances in order to enhance students’ teamwork ability and self-confidence.

1.Two regular classes per month.

Name of Activity 8: Chinese Art – Shaolin Kung Fu
Grade Level: K1-K3
Activity goal:
1.Invite professional Shaolin Kungfu masters to the school to provide regular Shaolin Kungfu classes, so that students can learn Shaolin Kungfu and strengthen their bodies.
2.Invite Shaolin Kungfu masters to set up interest classes in the school, so that students who are interested in Shaolin Kungfu can sign up to participate, so as to strengthen the exercise of Shaolin basic skills.
3.Arrange Shaolin Kung Fu class students to represent the school to participate in the “Tuen Mun District Civic Education Art Performance and Awards Ceremony”, “Understanding Chinese Culture” activities and perform in schools in the district to enhance students’ teamwork ability and self-confidence.

Activity goal:
1.Let students know the traditional customs of Dragon Boat Festival.
2.Let students experience the fun of dragon boat racing.
Activity introduction:
1.Use paper dragon boats to let students simulate dragon boat racing activities.
2.Each student will receive a dragon boat craft kit as a gift, allowing students to complete the “dragon boat” with their parents during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday.
